Our reflections ( observation 07 ) 30/4/08
Lim Leon: I feel elated as my sunflower plants has started to develop flowers. This also explains why ants are seen crawling all over the sunflower plants.
Danial: I discovered buds growing on the leaves. I wish it will bloom flowers and would not die.
Yue Xin: Both of my plants have grown very tall .
Kun Rong: There is a bud on my Taiwan sunflower plant but no buds are seen on my Singapore sunflower plant. I hope the bud on my sunflower will bloom to flowers soon.
Cindy Tan: Glad to see them grow. I have learnt my lesson to be patient while they grow.

竹圍國小第二階段
主任讓我們增加日照量從4小時變成12小時，本來沒發芽的讓新加坡種的也長出來了，真是太棒了，不過還是出現第一階段的情況，新加坡種也死了！
上次去苗圃的時候，農場主人告訴我們的燈泡對向日葵不適用，要用燈泡，就要用種花用的特別燈泡，這樣才能行光合作用，所以主任又要我們在第三階段把種向日葵的箱子抬到的箱子抬到外面去。
竹圍國小第一階段
我們一開始先出發到家樂福買建築溫室需要的用具和材料，回去後便開始泡水、播種。我們竹圍的照射量是由燈泡來控制，第一組是最短的，只有4小時。一開始我們這組竟然長的最高，透過討論，我們理解向日葵一開始比較需要水，陽光最少，當然吸收到的水分也越多。
雖然一開始很高，但馬上就被追過了；可是，到最後竟然「全軍覆沒」，全部死光光。不過有了這次經驗，知道照射量太少，主任便讓我在第二階段增加日照量。

Our Group Reflections (23 April 08 )
Lim Leon: Ants are attracted to the sunflower plants. This shows that the plants are starting to develop flowers soon! I am very happy !
Danial: I am glad that both my seeds are growing well. I discovered that ants are walking on the stem of the plant. I think the plant is sweet and are developing flowers soon. I wish they would not die.
Kun Rong: Both my sunflower plants are growing bigger and better day by day. They also have more leaves day by day. I hope both my sunflower plants will bloom flowers soon.
Yue Xin: My plant had grown very well. It is very strong and steady.
Cindy Tan: Both of my sunflower plants have grown very well and they are so tall and strong.

Our reflections (observation 4 -4 April 2008)
Lim Leon: I was very happy when both seeds were growing well.Now, my Singapore seed is catching up with my Taiwan seed.
Danial: I am very happy for both my Taiwan and Singapore seed. They are growing well. I wish my Singapore seed can grow as fast as my Taiwan seed.
Kun Rong: I am very happy for both my sunflower plants and i wish them to be the best of all.
Cindy: I wish that both sunflowers can grow faster.
Yue xin: My Taiwan seed is growing very well but i also hope that my Singapore seed can grow even faster.

Our reflections (4 April 2008 Observation 3)
Lim Leon: i am very happy about the growth of both seeds but i hope that the Singapore seed can grow faster.
Yue Xin:I am quite happy with my Taiwan plant, but also a little disappointed with my Singapore plant.
Kun Rong: My Singapore sunflower seed has finally grown to a height of 1cm and my Taiwan sunflower seed has grown to a height of 13cm. I'm happy for both my Singapore and Taiwan seed.
Danial: I am glad that my Singapore seed has grown a bit. My Taiwan seed is about 10.5cm. The length of the longest leaf is 5cm and the width is 3cm.
